10 Things to do in PEI this November

From holiday markets and hot chocolate delights, to cozy retreats, fabulous entertainment and everything in between. Here is our list of things to do in PEI this November!

1. Catch a show at the Confederation Centre!

There’s no better place to spend an evening than at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. With live music, theatre, and comedy through Live! @ The Centre, there’s always something worth checking out. See what’s on this month and make a night of it in downtown Charlottetown.

2. Check off your list at a holiday market

Some of the best parts of the holiday season is browsing the locally crafted goodies at all of the markets and craft fairs this month. You’ll be sure to find unique gifts for everyone on your list as you discover the Island’s talented artisans.

3. Find Charlottetown’s secret bar

Did you know there’s a secret bar tucked away in Charlottetown? Reddin’s is PEI’s only speakeasy, and it’s the perfect spot to sip delicious handcrafted cocktails in a cozy, hidden setting. Now, if only you could find the password…

4. Catch live music at Trailside

From intimate concerts to high-energy tribute shows, there’s always something happening at Trailside Music Hall. This month’s lineup includes performances by Danny Michel, Two Hours Traffic, Amanda Jackson, and more. Plus fan-favourite shows like Dancing Queen: A Tribute to ABBA and Country Roads.

5. Cheer with the crowds at a Charlottetown Islanders game

Settle in at the Eastlink Centre and watch the Charlottetown Islanders in a good ol’ hockey game. It’s the best game you can name!

6. Have a Green Gables Christmas

If you’ve ever wondered what Christmas in Avonlea would have been like, then you need to head to Cavendish for A Green Gables Christmas. Explore Anne’s decorated house, sip some hot chocolate, listen to carolers, and maybe even meet Anne herself!

7. Enjoy live Island music at Ceilidh in the City

Now in its 15th season, Ceilidh in the City keeps the Island’s musical spirit going strong through the fall. Each week features the host band alongside special guests , from local favourites to rising stars. Catch performances every Wednesday evening at the Jack Blanchard Centre in Charlottetown.

8. Visit a local café

Cold weather calls for warm drinks. Settle into a cozy café like bar1911 in Charlottetown, Foxy Fox Coffee House in Crapaud, Samuel’s in Summerside, or The Lucky Bean Café in Montague for a latte and a good chat. It’s the perfect way to slow down, warm up, and savour a calm November morning.

9. Laugh along with Hilda & Herbert at Mill River

This delightful duo brings their homemade comedy show to Mill River Resort for an evening of quick wit, playful banter, and heartwarming humour. Tickets include a full turkey dinner and dessert — so come hungry, stay cozy, and get ready to laugh (a lot). Make a night of it with Mill River’s Dinner Theatre Getaway package.

10. Join the Island’s Christmas traditions

Make cherished holiday memories by taking part in classic Island Christmas traditions in Charlottetown. The annual Charlottetown Christmas Tree Lighting (November 28th) fills the city with music, lights, and community spirit, followed by the Santa Claus Parade (November 29th) which brings festive cheer to the streets of Charlottetown. Bundle up, grab a hot chocolate, and celebrate the season Island-style.
