SOMMO Festival is feast for all senses, as it celebrates good music and great food. The Charlottetown Festival

As if you could even think of being entertained without visiting the Confederation Centre of the Arts! All summer long there’s an incredible lineup of music, art, and theatre (and more), so a visit to this Charlottetown hub will never disappoint. This year, Canadian music icon Alan Doyle returns to the stage in Tell Tale Harbour, a heartwarming musical comedy about a small fishing village with big dreams. Experience rock ‘n’ roll history with Million Dollar Quartet, a high-energy show packed with legendary hits from Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Over at The Mack, enjoy everything from comedy to culture: The Creator’s Plan shares a powerful Mi’kmaq story through music and dance, Have Jokes, Will Travel delivers big laughs courtesy of Island comedian Justin Shaw, and Chase the Ace is a one-man comedy full of small-town charm and lottery mayhem. Rounding out the season is the return of the fan-favourite cabaret Becoming Dolly, a spirited tribute to country music’s queen herself.
