East Point Lighthouse

East Point Lighthouse was built in 1867 and stands at the easternmost tip of Prince Edward Island, where the Gulf of St. Lawrence meets the Northumberland Strait.

The white lighthouse with its red lantern room has guided ships navigating the Island’s eastern waters for more than 150 years and remains an active navigational aid today.

Visitors can climb the lighthouse for sweeping coastal views and stop by the nearby interpretive centre to learn more about the area’s maritime history.
