Insider’s Tip

A must-try is the Premium Beef which is raised right here on Prince Edward Island. The ‘Sim’s Custom Cut’ is done in-house and properly aged to perfection for 45 days, before being cooked appropriately to your liking.

From 1862 to 1864, Donald McIsaac constructed a beautiful three story brick building on the corner of Queen and Sydney Street in downtown Charlottetown. It became the procession of Thomas and Charlotte Alchorn Sim in 1906 and since then the building has been a significant part of Prince Edward Island’s heritage.

Local restaurateur, Kevin Murphy, purchased the heritage building in 2005 and transformed it into a premiere dining location. Today, Sims Corner serves as a steakhouse, oyster bar, and offers a wealth of fresh local seafood, over 300 (old and new world) wines, and signature drinks that are mouth-watering masterpieces in a glass.

The interior of the Charlottetown restaurant is a combination of rustic meets elegance, inviting you to linger longer. In addition, there’s an on-site 20-person dining room available for private functions, family celebrations or business gatherings.
