Tracadie Beach
Tracadie Beach is about 30 km east of Charlottetown, just beyond Stanhope and the Gulf Shore Parkway.
Like its neighbouring North Shore beaches, Tracadie offers wide stretches of soft sand and gentle waves. Unlike the National Park beaches, no entry pass is required, and dogs are permitted year-round.
Even in peak summer, it’s often possible to find a quiet stretch of shoreline. Offshore, a long barrier dune shapes the view and the beach itself. The water is typically warm, though swimmers should be aware of the quick drop-off.
