Wood Islands Provincial Park

Wood Islands Beach, located within Wood Islands Provincial Park, is just minutes from the ferry terminal to and from Nova Scotia, making it a popular first stop or final goodbye to Prince Edward Island.

Set along the red shores of southeastern PEI, this quiet beach offers warm water, soft sand, and views of the nearby Wood Islands Lighthouse. You can also watch the ferry come and go across the Northumberland Strait.

The park includes washrooms, picnic areas, and a playground, making it an easy stop for families.
