Soak in a live performance and feel every emotion, as if you truly understood where the musician was coming from, with Juno-winning folk singer and songwriter Catherine MacLellan. The critically acclaimed artist from Prince Edward Island will pay tribute to her late music icon father at the PEI Brewing Company Event Space.
Presenting “If It’s Alright with You – the life and music of my father – Gene MacLellan,” the production will run every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from July to September.
Feel your spine tingle with a powerful performance by Catherine as she breathes new life into her father’s treasured songs, which include rare and even unreleased music. Gene was known for his two worldwide-hits, ‘Snowbird’ for Anne Murray in 1970, and ‘Put Your Hand in the Hand’ for Ocean in 1971.
The show will be braided with laugh out loud moments and stories where you will be able to see and hear the soul, heart and creative genius of Catherine, while in a state-of-the-art venue featuring a unique multi-media format with a special ambiance.
The event space features a 25-foot ceiling, exposed brick, reclaimed wood and natural light, as well as being able to accommodate more than 200 guests.
