Take the High Road
Travel the Confederation Bridge! This curved, 12.9 kilometre (8 mile) long bridge is the longest in the world crossing ice-covered water. It makes travel to and from Prince Edward Island quick and convenient, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Insider’s Tip: For a scenic view at the foot of the Bridge, take a rest stop at the Cape Jourimain Nature Centre located at exit 51. You’ll want your camera for this pit stop to capture a snapshot of one of the world’s most magnificent engineering feats.
