It’s now early October. A month of Fall Flavours has come to an end but the rich autumn colors begin. As we go into this Thanksgiving weekend, it will be hard to ignore the blankets of warm reds, yellows and orange colors that coat the trees. If there was ever a time to explore Prince Edward Islands heritage roads, October is the month to do so.
And after you have explored the canopies of leaves covering those less traveled roads, take a trip down one of our many rivers or choose a pond if you do not wish to fight with the tides. It does not get much more peaceful than this.
If you wish to get a bit more creative with the camera, take some of those fallen leaves home and create some images of their details. Here is one example idea from a larger collection found on my Focused on Light blog.
Enjoy the fall colors. They disappear all too quickly.
