If you don’t do anything else this summer, see Juno-winning folk singer-songwriter Catherine MacLellan pay tribute to her father at the PEI Brewing Company Culinary Event Space.
Presenting “If It’s Alright With You – the life and music of my father – Gene MacLellan,” the production will run every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, starting July 3.
Join Catherine as she tells her father’s story with emotion, laugh-out-loud moments, breathes new life into his treasured songs, including rare and even unreleased music, in a powerful and personal performance.
Gene MacLellan was known for his two worldwide-hits, ‘Snowbird’ for Anne Murray in 1970 and ‘Put Your Hand In The Hand’ for Ocean in 1971.
See and hear the soul, heart and creative genius of Gene in a state-of-the-art venue featuring a unique multi-media format with a special ambiance. The event space features a 25-foot ceiling, exposed brick, reclaimed wood, lots of natural light, and can accommodate 200 guests for the show.
