25 restaurants across Prince Edward Island are participating in Best of Sea restaurant promotion and culinary competition this June. Talented local chefs have developed all together 54 unique seafood dishes celebrating PEI seafood like lobster, mussels, oysters, scallops, to name but a few.
Up for grabs is $4000 in prize money, for the top scoring chef, title of Best of Sea 2017 Chef of the Year – determined by a professional judging component. The winning chef will also get the exclusive invitation to compete in the Garland International Chefs Challenge at the PEI International Shellfish Festival.
Participating restaurants include: Blue Mussel Cafe, Brickhouse Kitchen & Bar, Broadway 45, Chez Yvonne’s Restaurant, Claddagh Oyster House, Dalvay by the Sea, Dockside Waterfront Restaurant, Dundee Arms, Fishbones Oyster Bar & Grill, Gahan House, Hopyard Beer Bar, Mavors Bistro & Bar, Merchantman Fresh Seafood & Oyster Bar, Mill River Experience, Papa Joes Restaurant, Peakes Quay Restaurant & Bar, Red Water Rustic Grille, Samuel’s Coffee Shop, Sims Corner Steakhouse & Oyster Bar, Sou’West Bar & Grill, Stella’s Dining, Sugar Skull Cantina, Terre Rouge Craft Kitchen, The Pearl Eatery & Oyster Lounge and Water’s Edge Resto Bar & Grill.
