Anne of Green Gables Museum

Anne of Green Gables Museum, located in Park Corner, PEI

A favourite place of L.M. Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, this historic Island property has been owned by her “merry Campbell cousins,” since 1776, and was the site she chose for her wedding on July 5th, 1911. Come visit the home and grounds that inspired L.M. Montgomery’s writing and feature many of her most beloved places and items, including the Lake of Shining Waters and Anne’s “enchanted bookcase.” You too will come to know the beauty and welcome that filled Montgomery’s heart when she visited the Campbells.

Enjoy a peaceful Carriage Ride through beautiful flower gardens, along the Lake of Shining Waters, over rolling hills, to a private, white sandy beach. One hour and one half hour private rides are available May to October 7 days a week. Step back to L.M. Montgomery’s time to the places and treasures that helped inspire her to write about “Anne, Emily, Pat and other heroines.”
